Q: What led you to a career in banking?
A: My career in banking began in July of 2014 when I accepted a position with Ameris Bank as a Commercial Agricultural Banker. With my background in agricultural economics and precision farming, it felt like a natural transition to focus on financing farm and agri-business operations, as well as agricultural real estate and equipment.

Q: What was the most useful piece of advice you received in the early/formative years of your career?
A: Integrity is everything, both within ones self and with your customers.

Q: What is something you love about your job as a banker?
A: My work in banking is deeply connected to my passion for agriculture. My role allows me to serve the farming community in much of South Georgia and North Central Florida, helping local farmers and agri-businesses secure the financing they need to succeed, which I find incredibly rewarding.

Q: What would someone be surprised to learn about you?
A: I still live on the farm where I was raised in Worth County, and I enjoy growing fruits, vegetables, and herbs in my garden. Living the rural agricultural lifestyle is something I truly love, and I also enjoy cooking for family and friends.
