BSA Peer Group
This peer group provides an opportunity to enhance your bank’s BSA/AML program and connect with peers in both in-person and virtual settings. Facilitated by GBA’s BSA Summit leader, Kristen Stogniew, the meetings address timely topics with guest speakers and other key issues submitted by participants. This group is open to any banker involved in BSA/AML compliance and offers a collaborative space to share challenges, strategies, and solutions. A minimal fee is charged to cover the costs of the meetings.
Internal Audit Peer Group
The Internal Audit Peer Group is designed for internal audit professionals looking to strengthen their processes and stay ahead of emerging trends. Topics include best practices for effectively communicating audit results, modernizing internal audit with tools like data analytics and agile auditing, and fraud detection techniques. Interactive roundtable discussions allow participants to collaborate on industry challenges and share expertise. A minimal fee is charged to cover the costs of the meetings.
Compliance Peer Group
This peer group meets three times a year in Macon. Each meeting is open to any banker or associate member with an interest in the compliance function. The peer group is facilitated by a volunteer committee of bankers and outside speakers participate in each meeting. A minimal fee is charged to cover the costs of the meetings.
Marketing Peer Group
This peer group meets twice a year. Each meeting is open to marketing officers and any other bank employee with marketing, advertising, public relations, communications and / or community affairs responsibilities. The peer group is sponsored by the GBA Marketing Committee and is an interactive channel for bank marketers and others with marketing-related duties to share best practices, hone their skills and learn critical information about the topics of the day. A minimal fee is charged to cover the costs of the meetings.
