Q: What led you to a career in banking?
A: My career began in the insurance industry, which shares some similarities with banking. I wasn’t actively looking for a new job at the time, but when someone I knew introduced me to an opportunity in community banking, I was immediately intrigued. As I learned more, I knew it was the right move—and it turned out to be a pivotal moment in my career.

Q: What was the most useful piece of advice you received in your career?
A: One of the most valuable pieces of advice I’ve ever received came from my grandfather, an engineer by trade. He always reminded me that there are never just two answers to a problem and encouraged me to explore alternative solutions. His words shaped my approach to problem-solving, inspiring me to think outside the box and seek creative solutions beyond the obvious choices.

Q: Tell us about one experience you’ve had that exemplifies being a banker or your role at the bank.
A: As an HR professional, one of the most rewarding experiences for me is hiring early-career professionals and seeing them develop a passion for community banking while building a strong career path. I've had the privilege of mentoring / working with several talented individuals throughout my career, and I take great pride in their growth and success. Being part of their journey is truly fulfilling.

Q: What would someone be surprised to learn about you?
A: I have a one-year-old dog who is taller than me and weighs more than me! (A Great Dane)

Q: First tap/click of the day?
A: YouTube - usually something car-related, either a review or repair video.

Q: Book that you love/has made an impact?
A: Steel My Soldiers' Hearts by Colonel David Hackworth

Q: TV show or series you love?
A: The Grand Tour
