Q: As GBA members meet you or talk to you for the first time, what can they expect from you?
A: Passion! I really enjoy connecting with people and learning from them.
Q: Who is someone that has influenced your chosen career path?
A: Too many to list… I have worked with so many great people! I do have to give Newton Federal Bank and Legacy State Bank a shoutout here because working at these banks has fueled my love for community banking.
Q: What might someone be surprised to learn about you?
A: I have chickens and honeybees!
Q: When you’re not on the job at GBA, what do you like to do?
A: I’m constantly trying to keep up with my kids – both are so busy and keep me on my toes! If we aren’t on the go, we are outside. My husband and I have a garden and enjoy working in the yard.
Q: If you weren’t doing what you do today, what career path would you have chosen?
A: I would probably be a social worker. That sounds like a Miss America answer, but it’s true! I enjoy helping people.
Q: First tap/click of the day?
A: Alarm… at least 4 times.
Q: Book that you love/has made an impact?
A: “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership” by John Maxwell. This book isn’t just for leaders; it applies to life in so many other ways. Read it!
Q: TV show or series you love?
A: The Office, all the way – I love that show!
