FHLB Atlanta COO Cathy Adams to Close Inaugural Women in Banking Conference

GBA to Co-Host FDIC Community Bank & Directors' Capital Markets Workshop

In partnering with the FDIC Atlanta Regional Office and the CBA, the GBA will co-host the annual Community Bankers & Directors’ Capital Markets Workshops this month. The workshop will be in two locations: Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Georgian Club in Atlanta; and Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Idle Hour Country Club in Macon. Each workshop will focus on Capital Markets topics and will include discussions of the Revised Regulatory Capital Requirements, Investment Portfolio Management, and Interest Rate Risk. Each workshop is an interactive, one-day event designed to provide information on current topics of interest. Highlights of this year’s agenda include:

  • Revised Regulatory Capital Requirements
  • Investment Portfolio Management
  • Securities Tabletop Exercises
  • Interest Rate Risk Management
  • Interest Rate Risk - Modeling and Assumptions
  • Interest Rate Risk Tabletop Exercises.
This workshop is designed for Directors and Executive Officers of community banks involved in the management or oversight of these areas, potentially including Presidents/Chief Executive Officers; Chief Financial Officers; Chief Investment Officers; Treasurers; and Directors involved in the Asset/Liability Management function (including membership in the Asset/Liability Committee).
